I have in my own way to cope. the initial shock and disbelief, incomprehension, anger - and concern for those who also have this disease, I thank all of you who have brought gifts, sent messages and express their concerns, these acts of kindness have been a huge source of  help and comfort.
    My thoughts are also with my family, and the families of those who also have this disease. May those who died rest in peace and may we, each and every one of us, thank god for the people in our lives. I would also like to thank all the doctors, especially Dr. Leslie Popplewell, and medical staff at City of Hope, Duarte, California for there support and care. My special thanks to Dr. Okun for making it possible for Scott's treatment at the City of Hope, and Bill Beebe for helping out with the finances.
